BRUSSELS — The European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy (EAFJD) participated in a key follow-up session on July 18, 2026, alongside representatives from Armenia, Artsakh, and 25 countries. The virtual gathering built upon the momentum of the Diaspora Mobilization Conference held in Paris last April.
Faced with ongoing challenges—including the consequences of Artsakh’s forced depopulation, the defense of Hai Tahd, and democratic backsliding in Armenia—delegates evaluated progress made over the last three months. Key updates included summary reports from the conference’s four working groups, the launch of a digital archive website, and initial steps toward unified political and community action.
EAFJD President Kaspar Karampetian highlighted the critical role of European-level advocacy in this collective effort:
“The Paris Conference was never meant to be a single event, but a catalyst for sustained, organized action,” noted Kaspar Karampetian, President of the EAFJD. “As European Armenians, we are fully committed to translating these strategic discussions into tangible results—defending the rights of Artsakh’s displaced population and strengthening pan-Armenian unity when it is needed most.”
Moving forward, the EAFJD will remain actively engaged with the conference’s Coordinating Committee to advance shared national priorities and harness the global Diaspora’s full potential.
