Members of the Armenian community from various cities in Spain gathered in Granada to voice their unwavering support for the people of Artsakh. The protest, organized by the Europeans for Artsakh initiative, aimed to raise awareness about Azerbaijan’s crimes against humanity, condemn the European Union’s complicity in Azerbaijan’s ethnic cleansing, and call for immediate international intervention to halt Azerbaijan’s genocidal policies.

The rally took place during the meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, President of European Council Charles Michel, President of France Emmanuel Macron, and Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz during the European community summit.

Diran Guiliguian, one of the organizers of the event, presented the demands of the demonstrators and highlighted the call for accountability of Azerbaijan for its genocidal policy.

The protest in Granada sends a message to European leadership in urging them to take immediate action against the ongoing Azerbaijani genocidal policies and to stop enabling the perpetrator Azerbaijan.
